Who We Are
Who We Are ?
Fancy Feathers India is built on one simple belief — pet birds deserve informed, compassionate, and responsible care.
Our mission is to create awareness among bird owners about the unique needs of macaws, cockatoos, African greys, Amazon parrots, and other exotic species. These highly intelligent beings require the right nutrition, mental stimulation, and specialized care — and we are committed to helping families provide exactly that.
With years of hands-on experience, we have also authored the Pet Birds Care Handbook — a practical, easy-to-follow guide designed to help both new and experienced bird parents. The book covers everything from choosing the right bird to daily care, diet, behavior, and health — helping owners avoid common mistakes and raise happy, healthy birds.
At Fancy Feathers India, our focus goes beyond ownership — it is about lifelong care, awareness, and the true welfare of every bird.

Tips to Choose a Healthy, Premium Exotic Bird
IMPORTANT: If you skip these checks your bird could get seriously ill — even die. Many infections and poor care cause irreversible damage (feathers, beak, bones) or fatal outcomes. Please take these steps before you buy or bring a bird home.
🧬 Bloodline & Parenting
1. Parental History & Bloodline: Always ask about the parents — their health, temperament, and breeding background. Strong bloodlines usually mean better size, brighter colours, stronger immunity, and calmer behaviour.
2. Human-Raised vs Parent-Raised: Hand-fed, human-raised chicks are generally more gentle, trusting, and easier to bond with, especially in family environments.
Skipping bloodline checks often leads to aggressive, stressed, or poorly socialised birds later in life.

Who We Are
Who We Are ?
At Fancy Feathers India, we believe birds are not meant to be admired from behind bars. Wings exist for freedom, expression, and connection — and this belief shapes everything we stand for.
Our work goes far beyond the idea of cage-free living. True avian care is about creating the right environment, the right nutrition, the right mental stimulation, and most importantly, the right bond between humans and birds. It’s about understanding their intelligence, emotions, and natural instincts — and honoring them through a lifestyle that allows them to flourish.
We don’t treat birds as showpieces.
We raise, nurture, and prepare companions for life-long human connection.
Every bird in our care grows in thoughtfully structured enrichment, scientifically balanced diets, and daily human interaction. Our approach is guided by evidence-based avian science and shaped in collaboration with experienced behaviorists and certified avian veterinarians—ensuring both physical health and emotional well-being.
We see ourselves as caretakers and mentors. Alongside nurturing birds, we focus on educating and supporting families—guiding them in understanding individual personalities, building trust, and creating responsible, lasting relationships.
At Fancy Feathers India, birds don’t simply change homes—they enter relationships. Every placement is intentional, every match thoughtful, and every future built on respect, freedom, and companionship.
Because when birds are given care, understanding, and love, they don’t just live with us—they belong.
